LineVPN Terms of Use

Effective from May 11, 2026. The version of the Service that applies is the one in effect at the time the user accepts these Terms.

1. About the Service

LineVPN is a free VPN service created to protect freedom of access to information for the Russian-speaking audience, primarily users located on the territory of the Russian Federation who face blocks of independent news sources.

The Service is distributed via a Telegram bot. No registration by phone number, passport, payment card, or e-mail is required. The user is identified by the chat_id Telegram transmits when the user first interacts with the bot.

2. Who can use it

The Service is available to any person with legal capacity who has reached the age at which entering into this agreement is permitted by the law applicable at their location and who has accepted these Terms by pressing the "I agree" button in the bot.

The Service targets a Russian-speaking audience. Use from other regions is not prohibited, but technical optimization and support are directed primarily at users in the Russian Federation.

3. Access conditions

Basic access is provided free of charge. A condition of access may be the user's subscription to one or more public Telegram channels designated by the Operator in the bot.

If the user unsubscribes from a required channel, a 24-hour grace period applies, after which access is automatically deactivated. Re-subscribing within the grace period restores access.

The Operator charges no fees, accepts no voluntary donations through the Service, and offers no paid tiers.

4. Prohibited actions

When using the Service, it is prohibited to:

• perform actions unlawful under the law applicable to the user;
• distribute malware, phishing materials, or material containing child sexual abuse imagery;
• conduct DDoS attacks, mass port scanning, or exploitation of vulnerabilities in third-party infrastructure;
• send spam or use the Service for mass automated mailings;
• attempt to disrupt the Service or circumvent limits on speed, device count, or number of issued keys.

Violation of these restrictions results in immediate deactivation of access without prior notice.

5. No warranties

The Service is provided on an "AS IS" basis. The Operator does not warrant:

• continuous availability of the Service;
• compatibility with specific applications, devices, or networks;
• the ability to bypass all existing or future restrictions imposed by network providers;
• any specific connection speed or traffic volume.

Interruptions are possible due to technical failures, blocking by network providers, unavailability of transit nodes, and other circumstances beyond the Operator's control.

6. Limitation of liability

The Operator is not liable for direct or indirect damages, lost profits, loss of data, or any other harm incurred by the user in connection with the use or inability to use the Service, to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.

The user is solely responsible for the actions they take through the Service and for compliance with the law applicable to them.

7. Termination of access

The Operator may, at its sole discretion, without explanation and without prior notice, terminate or suspend a user's access to the Service, including:

• upon suspicion of a violation of these Terms;
• upon receipt of credible information about the user's unlawful activity through the Service;
• for technical necessity (migration, infrastructure restructuring);
• upon discontinuation of the Service as a whole.

The user may discontinue use of the Service at any time. Deletion of the user's record from the Service's database is performed via the bot.

8. Changes to the Terms

The Operator may modify these Terms. The user is notified of changes by a message in the Telegram bot. Continued use of the Service after notification constitutes acceptance of the new version.

In case of disagreement, the user is obliged to discontinue use of the Service.

9. User security

The Service does not log the content of traffic. Data-handling details are set out in the Privacy Policy. The Operator recommends:

• using current versions of the client applications (Hiddify Next and compatible);
• enabling the "kill switch" function in the client — it cuts off the internet connection when the VPN tunnel drops;
• not forwarding the subscription URL to third parties — this is equivalent to handing over key access;
• not using the Service for critically important tasks without backup channels of communication.

10. Contact with the Operator

Communication with the Operator is conducted exclusively through the Telegram bot, the "✍️ Message admin" button in the main menu. No other channels of communication (telephone, e-mail, feedback form) are provided — this is done to minimize the collection of personal data.

Requests regarding access to one's own data and account deletion are sent the same way.
